Tightlines – Norman Thelwell Fly Fishing Print

A beautifully observed fly fishing cartoon, Tightlines by Norman Thelwell captures the optimism and occasional frustration of a day on the river with his characteristic warmth and wit. Thelwell was himself a keen fly fisherman, spending much of his time on the banks of the River Test — and it shows.

Reproduced by permission of The Thelwell Estate and printed on acid-free Conqueror board from copies of original paintings.
